We are FINALLY here in CHILE!!! It was a LONG and WONDERFUL journey, both on prefield and our plane flights just yesterday into today. Today has been spent and will continue to be spent relaxing and getting over lack of sleep from the trip. I'll have to blog later about our adventures, but we as a few highlights...
1. First Baptist Church of Evans City, not our sending church, but a WONDERFUL supporting church and where we were married, sent some of our friends down to the airport to send us off. It was SO encouraging.
2. Because of those friends, and one in particular who had 2 tracts that she gave me, I was able to share some with 2 men on 2 of our 4 flights and then hand them the tracts. Please pray that Pete and ? will read those tracts, understand, and have their lives transformed by God's free gift!
3. We were delayed in Bogota, Colombia and had some adventures with waking the kids every 10 minutes as they moved our gate, served us refreshments, moved a large machine that my kids were laying in front of, and FINALLY get on the plane. The kids did GREAT!
We are all still catching up on sleep and probably will be for the next week or two.
I'll try to post some pictures and more updates as we go.
